Sustainability

NELLY is committed to long-term sustainable business - by acting sustainably from economic, social and environmental perspectives.

This means sustainability in the big picture: like our goal to reduce our emissions per product by an average of 5% per year – a total of 26% by 2030. And it means sustainability in the small picture: like continuously working to reduce unnecessary returns for every product, driving sustainability issues in all meetings with our suppliers, and testing how we can reduce the use of plastic for our supplier deliveries. That's how we believe change happens - in big and small ways!

We have been a member of STICA since the beginning of 2019, and are continuously working to reduce our climate impact and report emissions in accordance with the GHG protocol.

We are working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals through our Sustainability Agenda, which is linked to six of them in particular.

OUR OVERALL SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

  • ANNUALLY: NELLY's own production shall only take place in third-party audited factories

  • 2030: Reduce emissions in our own operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 42%, base year 2024

  • 2030: 70% of all materials we purchase shall be recycled, certified or come from Better Cotton.

  • 2030: Greenhouse gas emissions shall decrease annually by an average of 5% per product, giving a total reduction of 26% by 2030 (Scope 3), base year 2024.
